Yidarra
Yidarra Catholic Primary School is a co-
educational, double stream school 
Catholic primary school catering for 
580 students. It was established in 
1985. It is part of the Catholic 
Archdiocese of Perth, operating under 
the authority of the Catholic Education 
Commission through the Catholic 
Education Office and its Director. 

It is located in Bateman, Western 
Australia. Bateman is a southern 
suburb, located approximately 14 
kilometres from Perth and 10 kilometres 
inland from the coast.
 
Yidarra offers a Catholic Education for 
students from Kindergarten to Year 6. 
A program for 3-year-olds is being 
trialled this year.

Yidarra is a Catholic school which 
follows the guidelines and policies set 
down by the Catholic Education 
Commission of Western Australia.

Yidarra is part of the St Thomas More 
Parish, Bateman and the Church is 
adjacent to the school. It enjoys a 
close association with the Bateman 
Parish.
